Data handled while you browse

The systems that serve this site handle technical connection data: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, browser and device type. They keep the service running, secure and diagnosable.

The site creates no accounts and uses no profiling or advertising tools. Takeaway orders placed through the menu require your name, phone number, selected dishes, pickup time and any notes.

Purposes and legal bases

Technical data is handled to deliver the site you asked for and to protect it from abuse: the legal bases are performance of the requested service and the legitimate interest in security (art. 6 GDPR).

The technical cookie described in the cookie policy is necessary to operate the site and needs no consent.

If you order from the menu

To manage your order and pickup, the restaurant processes your name, phone number, selected dishes, pickup date and time, and any notes. The order is sent to the Affamato management system, which the restaurant uses to organize orders and related service messages.

Consent to receive news and offers on WhatsApp is optional and separate: you can place the order without selecting it. You can withdraw it by contacting the restaurant.

If you book by phone or WhatsApp

The site takes no bookings itself: the buttons open the phone, WhatsApp or the external service the venue uses. Whatever you provide at that point (name, phone, time, party size) is used only to manage the booking and stays with the restaurant for as long as needed.

WhatsApp is a Meta service and applies its own privacy policy: this site sends it nothing until you open the conversation. The same goes for the booking service and the menu, which live on third party platforms.

Providers and transfers

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a US company, which handles connection data to deliver and protect the service. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area relies on the safeguards set out by the GDPR: standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework.

For takeaway orders, the Affamato management system receives the data needed to transmit and manage the order on the restaurant's behalf. If you pay online, Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy notice.

How long we keep it

Hosting technical logs are kept for as long as needed to deliver and protect the site, as a rule no longer than twelve months, unless abuse investigations or legal obligations require otherwise.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in the cases set out by articles 15-22 of the GDPR, by writing or calling using the contacts above.

If you believe the processing is unlawful you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
